"Tara Brooch" Royal Tara Fine Bone China Dinner Set and Wall Clock

A fine bone china dinner set from the Tara Brooch line including pieces with smooth and scalloped edges, produced by Royal Tara, along with a wall clock. This eight person dinner service set includes eight dinner plates, eight bouillon cups, two lidded serving bowls, a large, medium and small sized serving dish, a sugar bowl and creamer, eight tea cups, a gravy dish, seven saucers, nine luncheon plates, and a clock plate. These pieces are all white with gold tone accented edges, and a gold tone circular design with a scepter run through the middle and a whip-like tail protruding from one side, with yellow and blue gemstone designs. They are marked along their undersides ‘Royal Tara Fine Bone China Made in Ireland Tara Brooch’. The plate clock has scalloped edges and a pleated rim, with a gold tone Roman numeral dial; ornate, Rococo style scrolled hands, and colorful black, yellow, blue and red scrolling, knotted elements around the perimeter.
Condition
- some light scrapes and scratches; some of the gold tone accents are wearing off; clock has not been tested.
