Vintage Bally "Dixieland" Pinball Machine

A vintage 1950s or ‘60s Bally ’Dixieland’ pinball machine. The coin-operated pinball machine has a vertical scoreboard, with scenes of musicians, and ‘Bally – Dixieland’. The playing surface is under glass, with chromed steel edges and steel legs. The playing surface is also marked ‘Bally Manufacturing Company – Chicago, 60618 Illinois’. A card marked ‘5 Balls – 1 play 10 cents – 3 plays 25 cents’ is also marked with a number to the lower left, ‘10-1-3 (S3)’. The sides of the machine are stenciled and airbrushed with graphics of music notes and a musician in colors of tan, rust and turquoise blue. The legs, trim and operating panel on the front are chromed steel.
