A three volume hardcover copy of Muybridge’s Complete Human and Animal Locomotion: All 781 Plates from the 1887 ‘Animal Locomotion’, published 1979 by Dover Publications, New York, with an introduction by Anita Ventura Mozley. This three volume set has grey cloth hardcovers, with prints of Muybridge’s original black and white photographs from his 1887 photographic study on the movement of humans, domestic and wild animals, and birds. Each dust jacket features a two-tone photo reel as illustration.

Condition

Pages clean, tight, unmarked. Hardcovers show slight edgewear, as do dust jackets.
