Item Details
An original oil and acrylic painting on canvas painting by Nicholas Barbieri (American, 1942-2013), created circa 1960. The painting is predominately white, with two stripes and an irregular rectangle of orange red, with a central area of vibrant lemon yellow. It features abstract text in pencil, paint, and pastel, that reads ‘beat crush’, ‘chew’, ‘full’, ‘soft- for all it’s worth’, ‘Such’, ‘large little’ and more. This work is presented mounted to a thin wooden stretcher, with two bands of masonite.
