1830's Glass Domed Clock
Item Details
An antique glass-domed clock. The clock has an ebonized wood base with cast paw feet that would date to the 1830’s. The clock has a wheel attached to the bottom to wind the movement. It has the original painted face with gold-tone Roman numerals, a silver-tone ball with point end hung by a string with a pin that comes up from the exposed gears that halt the ball pendulum or spins with gear movement. The glass dome is cracked but original as are all the pieces of this clock. Unmarked.

- wear consistent with age and use, glass dome is cracked, painted chipping, untested.
