Antique Ansonia Ornate Mantel Clock with Figure
Item Details
An antique Ansonia mantel clock. The piece has a metal frame on mounted feet with ormolu accents. It is decorated with four intricately detailed gilt panels featuring battle scenes in relief. There are squared columns to each of the corners. The face is blue and whites porcelain with Roman numeral, decorative hands, visible gears and wind key holes. The top has holes drilled to hold the figure. The spelter clock statuette is a boy with a straw hat, horn, and detachable cane.
Condition
- consistent wear from age and use, some chipping paint.Untested.
