An original oil and acrylic painting on canvas by Nicholas Barbieri (American, 1942-2013), created in 2005. The painting is exemplary of Barbieri’s later work, as a study of the effects of the world’s swirling forces and energies, with a spiraling coil of gold, orange, bronze and brown on a burnished gold ground. This work is presented mounted to a wooden stretcher. It is dated to the verso. Unsigned. Unframed.
