An original oil and acrylic painting on canvas by Nicholas Barbieri (American, 1942-2013), created in 2007. The painting depicts three stacked halos in hues of red, blue, and white adding a frenetic motion to each shape. They emerge from a crimson, gessoed surface, with spattered white paint dripping at its corners. The canvas is stretched to a wooden frame, which is marked with both his signature and the date. Unframed.
