Collection of Silver-Plated Serving Dishes, Trophies and Trays
Item Details
A collection of silver-plated serving dishes, trophies and a tray. A thirteen-inch round tray has pierced sides and a beaded rim and is marked ‘Wilcox S.P. Co. International S. Co. – N1200’. A round, footed silver-plated bowl is marked ‘Gorham YC 780’ to the underside. A round trophy bowl features a rope trim edge, and is engraved ‘Hunter Championship – Newark Horse Show 1947 – Halbred’, along with the winner’s name. A second round trophy dish features an egg-and-dart rim, and is engraved with ‘Newark Horse Show 1947 – Green Hunter Class – Halbred’. A Community Silverplate by Oneida Silversmiths dish and spoon set come in the original box, and is in the ‘Flight’ pattern.
