Tom Phillips Signed Limited Edition Print "The Chase"

A signed limited edition offset lithograph print after the original gouache and watercolor painting by well-listed Western genre artist Tom Phillips (Oklahoma/Missouri; 1927-2005), titled The Chase, from the Phillips’ Dances with Wolves series, released in 1991. The image depicts a scene from the epic 1990 American Western film in which men on horseback run with a herd of buffalo, hunting them. Artist signature is printed in plate and hand-signed in pencil to the lower right, where the print is numbered 1651 in an edition of 5000. This print is not framed, mounted to a white foam core substrate, awaiting presentation of choice.

Condition

- accretion on acetate wrap. Foam core substrate is worn and creased along edges and corners.
