A handmade Mahal rug with herati pattern. This wool rug has an allover pattern of acanthus blossoms and medallions, connected by vines on a dark blue field. The pattern is in bright, rich hues of red, ivory, tan, pink, and green. It is bordered by a cream band with acanthus blossoms inside. It has a cotton warp fringe to either end, and is unmarked.
