An offset lithograph after an original 1864 oil painting titled Mirror Lake, Yosemite Valley by Hudson River School artist Albert Bierstadt (1830-1902). The print features a placid, picturesque view of Mirror Lake in Tenaya Canyon of Yosemite. Two figural silhouettes in a boat are dwarfed by the sublime landscape surrounding them. A quote from Mark 6:13 is included at the bottom margin of the mat, which reads ‘Come to me to a quiet place and rest’. Displayed under glass, the work is double-matted with two shades of brown. It is presented in a wood frame with carved ridged and floral borders, and is ready to hang with a sawtooth hanger affixed to the verso. A sticker with a barcode is also adhered to the verso.
