An original oil on academy board painting by well listed artist and Californian, Albert Bertil Tolf (1911 – 1996). The artist has painted a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Painted from beneath the bridge, and likely en plein air. The brush strokes are impressionistic, especially with regard to the way in which the artist has delineated the water. The painting is signed to the bottom right hand corner, and is immaculately presented in a wooden frame with gold accents.
Good-Fair, could benefit from a cleaning.
