Maggie Meredith Signed Nantucket Print

A vintage Maggie Meredith (1922-2012) signed Nantucket offset lithograph print. The artist has pencil signed the print on the lower right quadrant. It depicts a contemporary primitive architectural perspective of downtown Nantucket Island and the wharf area. The print is presented behind glass in a black metal frame. After a notorious career in film-making and advertising, the artist, who was taught to paint by her grandfather, Tony Pousette-Dart, settled on the Island and began to show her creations at local art galleries. Until her death in 2012, Maggie was the oldest living artist in residence on the Island.
