Paul Sawyier Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "A Shady Lane"

An offset lithograph after an original watercolor painting by well-listed American Impressionist Paul Sawyier (1865-1917), titled A Shady Lane. This work features a landscape with a fenced road surrounded by trees, portrayed in the artist’s signature impressionist style. The narrow road winds and recedes to the background. The artist’s in-plate signature is included to the lower right. A certificate of authentication, dated 1973, from Old South Galleries of Frankfort, Kentucky is affixed to the verso, stating that the work is a limited edition print, numbered 610 out of 1000. Additional information about the original painting and print are included in the certificate. ‘For Steve’ is also handwritten to the verso. The print is displayed under glass and is double matted with two shades of green mats. Displayed in a gold-tone wood frame, it is ready to hang with picture wire to the verso.
