Antique American Empire Cellarette Style Game Table
Item Details
An unusual American Empire style game supply table, in mahogany. This cellarette form pedestal table has a hinged top with ogee frame, lifts to reveal a fitted interior, lined in green felt and having a center square well, surrounded by a raised tray with four rectangular wells to hold playing cards or game pieces. The case rests on a heavy turned pedestal and three shaped legs on brass casters. Circa 1830-40. Has original key.
