A handwoven Caucasian Lesghi area rug features a red field with a series of three Pale indigo blue traditional star medallions in white, coral and maroon, surrounded by smaller arrow forms. It has barber pole guard borders and a wide leaf and calyx primary border on an ivory field in crimson and coral. It has a long, hand-tied wool warp fringe to either end, and is unmarked.
