1922 Citroën 5-CV Torpedo Cabriolet

A 1922 Citroën 5-CV Torpedo Cabriolet in original yellow paint. Manufacturer’s serial no. 20561. A collectible roadster designed and made in France during pre-depression years with styling at the height of fashion for its day. The vehicle features a two-passenger coupe body style with convertible top, luggage and cargo carrying capabilities and all original parts shown. Due to age and origin of the vehicle, mileage was not able to be determined nor is a VIN applicable. Included are several diagrams, cross-sections, pamphlets and spec sheets gathered and passed along over the years by previous owners. Provenance is stated as purchased from the Paris Museum by a prominent Cincinnati family during a tenure in the mid-1960s; it was later brought to Ohio, where it has remained since. Lineage can be traced back to two additional owners after that beginning with a purchase in the early 1970s, and then by inheritance through to present day.

Lastly, the winning bidder is advised to check with their DMV / BMV to ensure that all necessary paperwork, tags, title transfer, et cetera are complete before the motor vehicle is removed from the premises.

Condition
- cosmetically in Good to Very Good condition for age; stated as fully restored with original parts approximately fifteen years ago. Currently not running and will need to be considered for removal and pickup. Please note the vehicle will not be transferable to the EBTH warehouse; it will need to be picked up at the pickup location during the scheduled pickup day and time, or shipped.
