A signed limited edition offset lithograph print after the original ‘fabric painting’ by contemporary American artist Melanie Kimmel (Pennsylvania; 21st century). Kimmel’s art-making process involves a ‘palette’ of colored fabrics, which she cuts into appropriate shapes to create a realistic image with convincing dimension. This image depicts a pelican standing on the embankment of a marshland. Artist signature is signed in pencil to lower left and print is numbered 16 in an edition of 250 to lower right. The print is mounted behind white mat, under non-glare glass in a gorgeous handmade wood frame by the artist herself. Additional information is attached to the verso.
