A Cold War era United States military ammunition crate. This wooden ammo box is stamped ‘3 Cartridge 81MM Lot-MA-E-537 HE M374A2 W/O FUZE FOR MORTARS M1 AND M29 Loaded 7/74’. It has a metal latch and hinged lid with rope handles at each end.
