Item Details
A Ming dynasty (1368-1644) Zhangzhou ware plate. This type of exported ceramic are known as Zhangzhou ware, or Swatow ware, and produced in Fujian, China and exported to southeast Asia during the Ming dynasty. The earthenware plate features spontaneously executed hand-decorated designs. Unmarked.
