World War I Era U.S. Signal Corps Radio Receiving Set

A 1918, U.S. Army Signal Corps radio receiving set, type B C-14A by General Radio Co. This radio is housed in a painted wood box with straps and metal plaque to the lid and ‘Drive Carefully and Good Luck’ decals. The name ‘Brewer’ is stamped to the lid, as well. The original instructions are affixed to the underside of the lid, describing the set and how to use it. These radios were crystal sets, with limited signal receiving capabilities.

Condition

- fair, untested. Rust and wear to wood case.
