Item Details
An original abstract oil on canvas painting by Gail Corbett Goldsmith. The artist has filled the space with viscous brush work tangled up in gesture with a white, black, tan and beige palette and presented in a natural wood frame. Signed to the verso on the stretcher, the canvas is adorned with wire for hanging. Goldsmith earned her BFA at Denver University in 1955, and after spending a year abroad in Mexico she attended Cranbrook Academy of Art.
