An oil painting on canvas by listed American artist A. Montgomery Huntington (1894 – 1967) created in 1963. Within yellow, green and brown tonalities the piece depicts an abstract harbor scene with boats floating over a reflective body of water positioned to the lower area of the composition contiguous to various boathouses located on a dock in distinct planes and constructed with overlapped blocks of color in greens and yellows. The piece is signed ‘A. M. Huntington’ to the lower right corner. It is presented under a linen beige mat with beige wooden fillet in a wood frame with gilt interior accents. There is a wire attached to the verso and the piece is ready to hang.
