Gorham Sterling Silver "Buttercup" Flatware Set
Item Details
A large sterling silver flatware set by the Gorham Manufacturing Company (established 1865, Providence RI). These are in the Buttercup pattern, first introduced in 1899, which features a blossomed bordered handle. The thirty-two pieces include eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, and eight teaspoons. The eight dinner knives have stainless steel blades. The total approximate weight, excluding flatware with stainless blades, is 31.26 ozt.
