An oil painting on canvas board, copied after the original oil painting by Edward Henry Potthast (1857-1927) titled At the Seashore, an Impressionist beach landscape, signed illegibly in black paint to the lower right by the reproduction artist. In the image, children watch as others stand in the surf of the ocean while others swim. The painting is mounted behind a linen liner with gilt fillet in a beveled wood frame with a distressed speckled gilt finish.

Condition

- finish of frame is intentionally distressed; may have additional wear and scratches.
