An antique copy of Lucile by Owen Meredith, a nom de plume of British poet and statesman, Edward Robert Lytton Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton (1831-1891). This is an undated copy of his popular verse novel, published in New York by Thomas Y. Crowell & Co. It is presented with a sprigged clothbound cover with a gold-toned arabesque binding and spine. To the top left of the inside cover are names of previous owners.

Condition

- fair; some scuffs, scratches and discoloration throughout; some minor foxing present and slight bowing at corners.
