Native American Raku Ceramic Bowl

A raku fired horsehair bowl. This Native American urn shaped black and white bowl is made of light colored clay covered in black squiggly lines. The squiggles consist of carbon residue of hairs from a horse’s mane or tail. The bowl is marked illegibly at the bottom. The item may be water permeable and not suitable for holding water.
