A set of photo books of the 1937 Ohio River flood and the 1939 ‘New York World’s Fair’. The 1937 Ohio flood scrapbook includes a group of photos taken in January and February of 1937 during Cincinnati’s big flood. Six to twelve inches of rain fell in Ohio during January 13–25, 1937. The river reached its peak on January 26, at 79.9 feet, more than 25 feet higher than flood stage. The photos of the 1939 ‘New York World’s Fair’ come in a special Wolds Fair binder. These are postcard pictures that include descriptions.

Condition

- not all pictures are attached to the albums and the World’s Fair binder is missing one tie to keep it tohether.
