A collection of 1940s stamp albums by Scott Publications. This set includes two 1946 editions of The American Album for United States Stamps, a 1944 edition of The Modern Postage Stamp Album, and a 1948 edition of The Specialty Album for Postage Stamps of Germany and Colonies. Each album is hardcover and cloth-bound; they contain stamps such as 1 1/2 cent Harding stamps from 1930, a Massachusetts Bay Colony stamp from 1930, circa 1910 Deutsches Reich Germania stamps, 1940s Deutsches Reich Adolf Hitler stamps, and more.
Condition
- pages are yellowed, warped, stained, and falling out; some shelf wear, fading, and discoloration to covers; “Modern Postage Stamp Album” has owner’s name in ink to the front cover; stamps are falling out.
