A signed hand-colored etching by artist H. Probst, depicting a street scene in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a German town in northern Bavaria known for its still-standing medieval architecture and surrounding wall, undamaged since the 14th century. Artist signature is printed in plate and hand-signed in pencil to the lower right. Title is marked in pencil to the lower left margin, and additional inscriptions written in German occupy middle lower margin. The etching is mounted behind three layers of complementing mat, under glass in a beveled wood frame with a distressed gilt finish.
