An antique washstand embellished with floral carvings. The medium tone wood washstand comprises a back-splash with scalloped brackets affixed to a rectangular overhanging top, one full length drawer over two stacked half length drawers on the left side – all constructed with Knapp joinery, a cabinet with a hinged drawer on the right side, graduated molding at the base and caster wheels. The piece is embellished with brass hardware, floral carvings, and a pair of pilaster carvings along the sides of the front.
