A Roos Sweetheart Cedar Chest A provincial style cedar chest in light and dark wood from Ed Roo’s Co. The chest is cedar with a walnut and oak finish, fruit wood inlays. wood applique and carved wood molding. The chest has a scalloped edged top and apron with carved and molded feet in front and bracketed feet in the back. The inside of the chest is red cedar with the original removable shelf. The cedar chest has brass hardware and a grey metal latch.The inside of the chest is marked ‘Roos, Sweetheart, Cedar Chest’.
