A pencil drawing of a design for an Empire style plant stand. The vintage drawing shows a four tiered stand with three deeply curved legs that connect the tiers. The legs end in clawed feet which rest on a triangular base. The drawing is captioned ‘Mhy. Pedistal Approx. 48’. ‘Mhy.’ is likely an abbreviation for mahogany. The drawing is mounted under glass with a tan linen mat and gold tone liner and wood frame with gilt embellishment and wired for hanging.
