A handwoven kilim area rug. This rug features a bold pattern of diamond shaped medallions in a palette of bright red, burnt orange, indigo and chocolate brown. The medallions are surrounded by geometric patterns in a similar palette that sit on a deep red field. The field is surrounded by a resolved border featuring more geometric shapes, with a wide decorative kilim skirt and undyed, natural wool warp fringe to each end. Unmarked.
