A china set made by Haviland for Chas. Mayer & Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana.This china set features a gold rim with a thin gold line to the inside on all pieces. The set includes eleven tea cups, twelve tea saucers, six dinner plates, twelve salad plates and twelve dessert plates for a total of fifty three pieces. The pieces are marked ‘Haviland France’ and ‘Haviland & Co. Limoges for Chas. Mayer & Co. Indianapolis, Ind.’ to the base.
Condition
- chips to three dessert plates; one teacup cracked; gilt wear throughout; wear consistent with age and use.
