A vintage original oil painting on canvas by listed Haitian painter Lionel Laurenceau (20th/21st century), titled Man with Pipe, dated 1975. The image depicts a monochromatic rendering of an elderly gentleman pausing for a moment with his head in his hands and a large tobacco pipe in his mouth, looking downwards in contemplation. He wears a sun hat and a long-sleeved white work shirt. A series of symbols are layered on top of the image and trail down the left edge. Artist signature is signed and dated to the lower right. The painting is mounted behind a distressed white wood liner in a beveled wood frame with a natural stained finish.

Condition

- finish of frame is worn. Mitered corners of frame slightly separating.
