A collection of ceramic décor featuring the stock character Pierrot, a clown with a white face, rosy cheeks, white clothes and a black skullcap. This collection includes a figurine of Pierrot, in a black ruff, seated on a Classical-style column and holding a black Comedy mask; a soap dish depicting a Pierrot figure, this time in a white ruff, lying prone with his chin in his hands and his feet raised at the knees; and a pink-handled mug in the shape of a Pierrot head, with small hands raised to his cheeks. The mug and soap dish are marked ‘Pierrot’ and ‘Handpainted Philippines.’
