1940s "Sweetheart" Cedar Chest by Roos

Item Details

A Roos ‘Sweetheart’ chest made in the 1940s. This Art Deco style chest is stained a light honey color on the outside, with waterfall lid and banded feet. Its interior is raw cedar with original Guardex Cedar Liner. The chest includes an upper shelf that is attached to the lid. The item is marked ‘Roos Chests, Sealtite Lid, Patented, Forest Park, ILL’ and features original product information sheets as well as ‘Sweetheart’ card pasted to inner lid.
