Item Details
A vintage handwoven Hamadan carpet runner. This runner rug features a set of hooked medallions within a central stepped lozenge in a colorful palette of cobalt blue, ruby red, hunter green, and coffee cream brown on a navy field. The corner spandrels have a large kochnak motif, representing ram’s horns, in deep crimson. The border features a multi color diamond pattern. It has a tied, natural cotton fringe to either end, and is marked, ‘Made in Iran.’

- to fair. The tasseled fringe on both ends has some damage and coming loose, and some of the rug is stretched in some areas.
