A 1977 Takamine F-312 acoustic classical guitar with a Bill Lawrence A300 soundhole pickup. This Japanese-built guitar has serial number 77010866, indicating its manufacture as the 866th guitar of the series built in January of 1977. It has a traditional classical body, a slotted headstock with wrap-around tuning pegs, a fixed bridge with a compensated saddle that secures strings via bridge pins. It has simple black binding with ivory pinstripe accents to the soundboard edges, and black and ivory tone pinstriping around the soundhole. It also has hardware at the neck’s heel and endpin. It is fitted with a Bill Lawrence A300 fully shielded removable soundhole pickup with a stainless steel cover.
Condition
- some wear and discoloration to finish, surface scratches. Significant surface wear to back, which likely had been customized at some point by a previous owner. Untested.
