Item Details
A group of Alexander Backer Company (ABCO) figurines. These pieces, produced in the 1950s and 1960s, were made in a chalk ware body and covered in enamel paints. Depicted are stylized Chinese figures in various pursuits. There are decals on the bottom reading ‘ABCO Hand Painted Made in U.S.A Alexander Backer Co N.Y. Co.’
Condition
- a crack near the collar bone of the standing man and chips throughout.

4.0" W x 11.75" H x 3.25" D
measured the standing man; the man sitting on books measures 4.0" W x 7.75" H x 4.0"D.
