Antique Longquan Style Celadon Tripod Censer
Item Details
An antique footed Longquan style celadon glazed tripod censer. The bowl rests on an unglazed ring base and has three feet. The interior bottom is also unglazed. The Longquan region was the largest celadon producing region in China with over 200 kilns. This Song dynasty style censer appears to be produced in the late Song (960-1279) or early Yuan dynasty (1271-1368).
