A set of Italian neoclassical style caned chairs. The six wood chairs have balloon backs with caned panels framed by bundled reed moulding with gilt highlights, oval caned seats with shaped apron and gilt rosettes terminating on front tapered and fluted front legs with gilt foliate detail resting on flattened ball feet. Loose salmon chair pads with geometric detail and tasseled ties and padded crescent backs are included.

Condition
- wear, stains and damaged cane elements; old breaks and repairs; one chair’s crest is broken and has a tear across the caning; general wear to upholstery, not all of the buttons to attach the crescent back pads are present.
