Seth Thomas Federal Style Grandfather Tall Clock

Item Details

A grandfather tall clock by Seth Thomas, a division of General Time. This tall case clock features a silver and gold toned face with a Roman numeral dial, black hands, and acanthus leaf spandrels, with German movement. Above the dial, an arched plaque reads ‘tempus fugit’ above a globe. This pendulum clock, with its brass toned chains, weights, and hammers, is held within a Federal style maple finished case, with a finialled scrolling broken pediment, and a series of cavetto moldings. It stands upon ogee bracket feet and has timekeeping and assembly instructions to the back.
