A large collection of vintage Theodore Haviland ‘Gotham’ pattern china with three pieces by Pope Gosser. This set of cream and gold tone china includes a large collection of the ‘Gotham’ pattern china by Theodore Haviland. There are 11 dinner plates, 11 mugs and saucers, two oval serving bowls, a pair of candelabras, a gravy bowl, a creamer and sugar dish, and a large oval serving platter. There are also three similarly patterned pieces by Pope Gosser, including a circular serving bowl, a teapot, and a coffee pot. All pieces are marked on the base with either ’ Pope Gosser Made in USA Warranted Coin Gold’ or ’ Theodore Haviland New York Made in America Gotham’.
Condition
- one candelabra has wax residue
- light wear from use and age, chip along the edge of one dessert plate
