An original oil painting on canvas by well-listed Modern artist Nelsa Solano Gorga (1921 – 1984). Energetic mark-making is executed in this piece, largely dominated by linear formations of black pigment, with muted bursts of white mixed with Prussian blue and burnt sienna. Artist signature is signed in paint to the lower right. The painting is mounted in a simple wood paneled frame with a gilt finish. Artist signature is marked to verso as well.
