A pair of Stetson fedoras. This includes a gray plaid hat marked ‘Stetson Equalizer’ marked ‘35% wool/ 50% acrylic/ 15% nylon’ and sized L and ‘7¼-7⅜’. There is a brown felted hat with black bow and marked ‘John B. Stetson Company/ The Sovereign Stetson Mode Edge’ and sized ‘Long 7⅜ oval’; there is also the initials ‘EJL’ and the writing ’Appel’s Incorporated Louisville, Kentucky’.
