A signed limited edition serigraph titled, Black Field circa 1972, by well-list American abstract expressionist painter, sculptor and printmaker, Adolph Gottlieb (1903-1974). This print is comprised of a very dark palette featuring a solid black background with a gray ring in the center near the top and a white circular form directly underneath. This piece has been pencil signed and dated by the artist in the lower left margin and is numbered 3 out of an edition of 150, which can be found in the lower right margin. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.

Condition

Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame.
