A vintage PY Miyao anthropomorphic apple teapot. This vintage Japanese PY Miyao teapot features a red hand painted anthropomorphic apple motif with brown stem handled lid and applied green leaf, twig motif stem and handle and cartoon like painted face. Teapot sits on a yellow base and is marked on the bottom ‘N’, ‘Miyao’ and ‘Hand Painted Coronet’.
Condition
Small chip in rim has been painted to match red apple color, wear consistent with use
